Does this game ever NOT glitch?

Seriously, I think the ps4 version is worse than the pc… I have had to do every single mission /quest at least three times, because of so many glitches/issues… I think refunds are in order. 60 bucks for a game I can’t even play…smh

Look like its even worst for you…
Im on PC and every thing was going very well since last night.

Dear Sir cunny look a war horse

Not once, ever!

The game rarely bugs out on me other than visual glitches, have hit one game breaking bug, the Nightingale quest, can’t place the traps down, they just end up invisible, so I just skipped it and am holding off until they patch it!

I dont have any glitch on PC.

No glitches.

I only write here cause the glitchless are out there happily playing.
The internet is rife with people who complain, an the adage is" an unhappy customer tells ten people" (that saying is preinternet)

I dont deny that this game is due a few paches. …
But; as the topic asks- “glitchless” sure… i get totally glitchless playing most times I turn it on.
If I run the game for awhile, and die/redo large parts over and over again - I have experienced the camera angle going skewiff halfway through a dialogue.
Whilst odd looking over Henrys head to the scenery beyond, having seen the same dialogue several times in quick succession -the change makes me smile.

When I changed my RAM timings supertight, and ran with a 1200mhz per core overclock I had pop issues and shimmers. Returning to default clocks hasnt hurt my framerate and I get no corruption: so “no brainer”.

I actually downclock my video card by a large amount of voltage and lock its fans super low. I have a very quiet computer spitting out a most amazing game with all graphical settings maxxed out (except shadows which I vary depending on if I use the 21:9 monitor or the lounge room reference screen)

Could I experience flaws? Sure… but not being green to role playing games- I never attempt race through progress on major story line on launch of a new game.

Most rpgs I have bough for last twenty years, unless a dreamcast game or pre 2000… when games were noticably smaller in scope and scale… usually worth waiting for awhile for it to be ironed out after having had a few months in the wild.

So I suppose a thankyou is required by me to all those running ahead and finding issues with this software.

Warhorse are one of the more commited studios out there and I have zero doubt they will continue to do much work, so I look foward to a few more patches.

In the meantime- a few year old midrange (enthusiast) PC hammers this game out well. My machine doesnt have any bottlenecks and I know how to maintain best case operating states.

Most people having issues (outside of savegames), seems to be from massive file fragmentation (console gamers cannot hit a button to remedy this), and my guess is this is exacerbating the save issue too…

Whilst I have written a few times on these forums how to remedy this issue… until some users post back they have done so - there isnt much more we can do.

Reported bugs are in the hands of the developers now. Carrying on about them just makes us look impatient.
Being angry about losing a save game? Sure, but catharsis might not be reached yelling at devs issues they are aware about. … maybe take a walk by a river in the real world. High framerate, widescreen, surround sound, ultra resolution (retina) with enhanced sensory input including feeling the wind and smelling the roses.

Then a video game having some issues for three weeks isnt such a bugbear.
Now if you have nolegs or a isolated to staying indoors/live on an oil refinery etc; inget your frustrations when your virtual river walk wont work…

In fairness, a clean install to an unfragmented drive seems to keep texture loads fast and that virtual river walk becomes a viability again…

Well if you* are having glitchless game play, why don’t you allow people with glitches to discuss it among themselves? What’s even the point of this lengthy post?

How is it actually possible that various ps4 users, report different problems? I mean, the technical foundation is the same.
Could someone explain this? thanks.

With quests, I think its mainly related to quest approach and if two quests are interfering with each other. For other performance issues, am not sure but it’s obvious that the game was tested poorly.

Not sure what hennry is doing here

Yes it never glitched in my combined playtime of 150 hours and yes also on ps4.

Look you child- your jumping up and down ranting in every forum is wearing thin.
I will now start to call you out for it whereever you pop up

Your typical flamewar in thread attitude of not listening to anybody (except to find facts to support your arguments) is silly here.
Lots of mature people here.
We are getting bored of your insistence that we all need to say we are suffering as much as you.

I have never robbed you of free speech- I have a live and let live policy… but you are antagonistic to the happy people of this world.

I dont want to suffer as much as you and I am not a victim.
I am an adult: here to help others.
Sometimes that is gamers having issues that can be fixed (and might need some help), and sometimes to celebrate this game (unlike you I am happy to have bought it- even in its PRESENT state).

Stop thinking you know anything about me and stop taking task with me for enjoying it.
I am sorry it runs well for me. If I knew how to break it a little so I could join your bandwagon- I wouldnt.

I am here to help others.
Get over it.
Leave people with opinions different to yours alone; OR dont be so miffed when people of differing opinions speak. Its one or the other in a world with equality. You demand your freedom- others are entitled to the same.

Most reasonable people on these forums can coexist with other gamers.

I guess whereever you go on the net it is all about violent ‘persuasions’; the loudest person winning.(?)!

In adult communities we are all free to talk.

I posted, relevantly, to this thread as it actually asked “if anyone gets glitch free gaming”.
If the people answering ‘yes’ are not allowed to chime in- like in every other thread your voice rears its ugly head in- then the results will be pretty skewwed.

I look forward to the devs sorting out the teething issues and we can start to direct them to non utilitarian changes that might be worth making- fun stuff.
For now it is ‘full speed ahead’ troubleshooting.

You dont help.
You hijack others threads to badmouth repeatedly at any opportunity all whilst playing victim card as if the world is stopping your speech.

You my good sir are the one who devalues your own words. I figured I could just ignore you, but…

Edited (spellchecked) as had been flagged multiple times. If concerned PM me- I am reasonable and can edit

You done? Now move along.

Sure, whilst there moght only be three-four versions of the hardware, and some drive size variations- the ways users use their systems makes a huge difference.

Hence, based on the logic that had you ask the question ‘how can they be different’;
Twothings; maintenance of the console and user play styles.

Lots of gamers might be trying tobget around the save system by sleeping in game several times per day. Tge playtesters might not have done this.
Also - game test playstations wouldnt have been from the wild, and would have had clean unfragmented drives. OR patches introduced have frafmented fame further and exacerbated issues.

I have been helping people in this last category as most ‘it looks crap now/after the update’ threads just need a lil maintenance to get back to good gaming.

Would rather be a part of the solution that the problem. I like this game. (last line written for the few naysayers who insist we all badmouth anproduct they dont like ir are here to punish because theyve never owned a modern open world rpg)(near release)

@Whitedragem: man, you seriously must have no “out of basement” life if the game works for you, you are happy, and still you spend time on this forum on writing this huge epistles not even being the dev or other kind of WH employee ordered to fiercly defend a buggy game
