So I have tried to re-download the game which failed almost immediately with an error code that read
"Unknown bundle setup error: 0x20".
Has anyone else had this issue or can shed some light as to what is going on?

It is a possible indicator that you could have malware on your computer which is corrupting your system. Please check about that.
