Does mead go under the beer or wine bibber stat? or none of them?..
technically it is honey wine, I’d put it there under wine bibier . however I have a feeling the game would put under sprits.
Yeah, I know it’s honey wine but in game I can see it go under beer(since most people think it’s like ‘‘Viking beer’’…), Wine since…it’s kind of wine and spirits…
one of my favourite-Probably that one which makes lockpicking 30% easier when you are drunk. But it’s also 30% noisier so better don’t get it if you like stealth. Tbh I find most drinking perks useless. That’s just me though.
Only really helps in drinking Schnapps and potions.
I do a ton of drinking, and yes it is a beer bib, so i always take wine bib because i want to get waste for a decent price. Mead is the best booze for the money in the game. Also it tires you out a little helping you sleep it off.
Traditional Bohemian mead is not wine and has very little to do with wine. I used to make mead and you could use any yeast you wanted with bread yeast producing the most historically accurate effect because modern wine yeast has been bred to withstand much higher levels of alcohol before dying off. As for the process, it’s similar to beer in that you have to boil it, but you only need to boil it for a very short time to sterilize it before adding the yeast. And the addition of other things (a few drops of lemon are advisable plus anything you want to use as flavouring - cinnamon, nuts, etc.) also make the process more similar to beer which uses hops as flavour. Czech mead traditionally doesn’t contain any fruit juice unlike some international counterparts. (Trace amounts to acidify the mixture or to introduce yeast don’t count.)
