I dropped my boots before sleeping on arrival in Talmberg, but they were not there when I woke up. Anyone know where they went?
Most likely completely gone - dropped items are on the ground in the place you dropped them until you go beyond draw distance I believe, or it seems a loading screen as well.
Were you getting really into roleplaying and took off your clothes to sleep, but forgot to put your boots in the chest like your mum told you to? Tsktsk lol

Well, I didnt even know there was a chest and I was just doing as I was told by Sir Robald. lol. Thanks. Looks like I’ll be barefooted for a while.
hahaha if you wanted, you could probably run to Rovna/Skallitz and grab some shoes off bodies there. Every bandit you come across would have a pair too and if you have any coin, some cheap ones woudn’t be bad to grab just for now

What’s weird is weapons dropped by NPCs seems to stick around. Cuman left shields and axes. Bandits have left polearms on the ground.
That is strange - and they’re ones you killed, not like one of the pre-scripted battles type of things? And it’s around after their bodies disappear?
Definitely seems like your stuff should stick around in that case too
I killed them at battle spawn points. Yes, bodies gone. The opening is starting to look trashy, arrows, polearms, etc
