I’m using DS4 controller (with DS4Windows) from the first moment I started the game and it was working quite well.
After installing the patch all buttons act twice even though I push only once, which make the controller quite unusable. Anyone else noticed this?

I can second this. Been playing on ds4 via steam configuration. Now to the buttons are either over responsive or not responsive at all. I’ve been enjoying everything so far but this is kind of game breaking. Please can others post here and hopefully we can get this fixed soon. Thanks!

im having the same issue i have tried many things but no fix
Guys it’s working fine for me, make sure you have the hide setting on, it did do something because I didn’t have to enable hide ds4 before patch.
I was having same problem till I enabled that setting in the ds4 program. I have to use the hide option in slot of games actually or it acts dodgy, hide option just makes it think you’re using a 360 pad
how do i hide the setting
Open ds4 program click setting the tick hide ds4 controller
Is this a confirmed fix for anyone? Since it unfortunately does not work for me.

Thanks! That did the trick for me. All is back to normal again. @Gladje Try closing the program, disconnect the controller and restarting it, the first time it didn’t work for me either but I noticed a red warning at the lower part of the program so I thought I’d give it another try and it worked.

Try putting the controller cord in different USB slots. Strange but tends to do the trick.
Took me a while to get this working… But eventually I disabled the Nvidia GeForce Experience Sharing overlays and wallah DS4 once again had full control.
Solution for me looked something like this… Exit Steam (or equivalent), Turn off GeForce Sharing, Unmount controller, remount, disable and re-enable from Computer Management (may not be required), hide off and then on. Restart Steam
I have the same Problem. the hide fix does not work for me, either.
I contacted the support via email and they said they’d look into it. I’ll post any developments here for others with the same problem. My best guess is the new update altered how the game interfaces with steam.
I noticed if I turn of the ds4 steam configuration the controller works however now I can’t use my own button layout (Lt to sprint and circle to crouch), was something I switched).
If your games running on steam, turn off steam overlay controller works fine. However now I can’t use my configuration e.g LT sprint and C to crouch.
