Economy balance

I think the economy needs some balance. The plate armor should be much more expensive. I dont like that I as blacksmiths son can get so much money from dead bandits. I think more immersive would be if the main possibility how to get the money or things would be from payments for quests.

The amount of money you get for bloody clothes and damaged armor is terrible. It should be much less… who in real world would buy bloody teared clothes?

I am not againts the rich Henry, I just think you are rich too soon and you can get the money too easy.

I for one totally agree. I focused on fighting from the beginning, since I wanted to try the combat and did the bandit camp quests as soon as I felt up to it. Right before I went to battle the first major plot point I sat on around 30 k Groschen and was fully equipped with the best armor available. Now I’m also done clearing the bandit camps in Sasau and sit on nearly 80k Groschen. Each bandit camp gave me armor around 5-8k Groschen to sell, sometimes more.

I don’t propose to downgrade the armor of the bandits in those camps, since they were a decent challenge, but to drastically redruce the earned money from used armor. This way you can take the armor of those bandits and reapir it and use it yourself and not earn ludicrous amounts of money by selling them

i agree with that, i prefer to be poor most of the game and having to complete quests to get money or valuable items and skills.

yeah… exactly my tough. The amount of money you get from damaged items should be reduced to almost nothing. If you repair the armor from dead bandits you could use it. But when you sell it you should get much less groschen. (even if its repaired… the jacket is not look so good if its repaired many times. It should be reflected on the price vendor want to pay for it).

I think armor should have much higher strength requirements and affect you in combat if you dont meet them.

I got a full suit of armor early on by simply knocking out a travelling knight.
In fact he woke up again (robbed naked) and still wanted to duel me. He bloodied his fists by banging on my new (his old) armor without even getting suspicious…

That beeing said I also think that people should have a chance to notice if you wear/use stolen equipment.

lol some bugs are really funny

but I agree with you. It would be great fix to wearing full plate gear so soon. But there is other problem with amount of money. If Henry start as guy who survived with luck and lose almost everything he shouldnt be more rich than Hans, second day after those events.

Well, technically there are strength requirements, since you need those two perks which improve the weight you can carry. Without those you are pretty much overburdened just by wearing armour. As for noticing stolen equipment: They do if you a) stole it close by b) stole it recently. As for Armour looted from bandits. Who cares? They were bandits
