So, about that infamous chest again, I heard that the stuff is supposed to be given to you like a reward or something at the end of the game. Does anyone know if I take those goodies I’ll have any kind of bug? Can anyone describe, without spoilers, what happens at the end of the game with that chest?

I took the things that were in this chest right at the beginning
in the end there was no bug for me it was just that the people I met were in the same camp
I didnt get a reward but everything worked out fine
At the end you stop at that camp. The items in the chest belong to one of the NPCs. It’s their battle set. Characters have a day set and a battle set.
When they sleep, they store their items in a chest.
You can choose to steal it of course, but it’s not a reward, and it’s not given to you.

also they’re removing the chest in a patch, if not 1.3 then soon. Devs know about it, it’s not supposed to be there according to youtubers
In full armor it’s very difficult to die. As for the weapon, until you level your strength, you won’t do much damage with it. So a level 1 Henry with endgame sword does as well as Henry swinging at the stick in the cutscene.
You can repair weapons for free, and armor can be repaired with kits or by armor/blacksmiths. Money isn’t that difficult to come by.

Everyone has to judge for themselves… I think it wasnt too op, sure you’ll have decent armor right from the beginning but on the other hand its also very heavy so you need to see if you will use everything. it is quite expensive to repair but I’d recommend to get repair kits and do it yourself this way you even get xp
