I am so sick and tired of getting stuck in a clinch while fighting multiple opponents. I’m forced into a clinch, then get hit by another opponent while in the animation, and the animation resets and I have to go through the entire clinch animation again. Fighting multiple opponents is tough enough without that janky crap. I’m covered head to toe in full plate, and I almost died to 4 of the lowest level bandits because The clinch animation kept repeating. This is the only thing that I hate about the combat because no matter how good you are, you will eventually deal with this stupid mechanic.

i get this issue all the time, im playing on PC and it doesnt matter what weapon i use
my advice is just dont go into clinches when fighting multiple opponents, just keep master striking

There is a key to unlock a clinch and switch opponents.

Soory, I should have included this information. The “E” key to unlock a target or the 3rd mouse button on PC. You can hit the Tab key to lock onto another opponent.

Lol, you don’t ask whether someone is playing on console or PC by saying. “Let me guess…console.” Whether you meant it that way or not, you come across as a pretentious douche. Besides, if you know how to solve the problem on either one, just say so, that would be far more helpful than what you posted.
