My game is near flawless! Yet everybody is talking about issues. The only noticeable things I have seen are small glitches like when I mount a horse Henry flies up and lands on the horse.
What platform are you on ? Probably PC, the PC version has the best optimisation and all the patches already.
I’ve had a few small things, and only 1 major bug so far. But wasn’t really that bad.
Yes, I am on PC. The people who are talking about bugs are probably on the Xbox and PS4
I have not noticed a single bug so far either. PC. Guess im just lucky.
im on ps4 and my only issue is texture pop-ins and game froze once when i was in inventory…that is all so far.
Mainly performance dips for me on PC, but I did get one major bug during the dice game with nightingale. I had to forfeit the game to get the night scene and continue the quest.
Not one proper bug in my Pc version as well. Only small texture and sound glitches, which had no effect on playability whatsoever.
hrmm no one on pc said what spec they had and whether they were on win7 or win10. Im gonna guess those with few or way less issues are on win10
im on pc win7 with a gtx1080 but have difficulties with the buggy nature of the game. half the time game doesnt start properly (e.g. if i have bandicam on for recording video) And when it does it is quite choppy and freezes occasionally.
Just got nailed with the Hanz Capon follows you fucking everywhere and ruins the entire game for you forever and now you have to undo 4 hours of progress bug. On PC!
Try doing more in game than just running through the main quests. Try undertaking some archery contests, doing jobs for people, attempting to use workbenches and so forth. If you do I guarantee you will find all the same bugs everyone else is.
You will see the flying bug when using the Alchemy station, The Archery Bug when taking part in a competition for money, the side quest issues when you will not be able to complete them for one reason or another.
I know the Beta was played by loads but the game is a lot bigger than the Beta and it looks like nobody has even attempted to play through the game at all internally at Warhorse Studios.
I’m on my Xbox One S and have essentially zero bugs. I’m 80hours played, 63k earned, 159killed and my game is flawless. Fucking love this game! So happy I backed many years ago
90% of my game time is doing everything but the storyline.
Good for you, I’m 34 Days past in game and 8K Earned on the PC, I will guarantee you that I have probably lost 90 days due to replaying and probably earned a shed load more. I have tripped over bugs and in game issues constantly.
P.S. I love the game as well. Just hate all the stupid little bugs.
You guys are lucky. I play on PS4 and I can’t even finish the very first quest because of patch 1.03
And I can’t help feel sorry for you people. It’s unfortunate seeing players jump to the conclusion that the game sucks because they are able to enjoy the game to its fullest. Hopefully they will be patient enough for the devs to sort things out.
The alchemy station is fine for me except for the one in the monastery because sometimes Henry decides to stand on the table… What is the archery glitch exactly? For me it just seems that the archery is really difficult because it’s not too accurate and you don’t actually know where the arrow will go without the crosshair command. I have done quite a few side quests and they’re great and I’ve never had a bug that broke one.
There is an Alchemy station in an old woman’s twig shack (not the one from the beta) if you use it you will be moved through the roof and continue to fly upwards, as long as you are on the station. If you press and hold Escape you will start to fall to the ground, obviously from height you will take fall damage.
The Archery issue has to do with the NPC’s not firing causing you to force the match to end and you loosing money.
The Archery is accurate. You just need to know where to line your reticule up and when to shoot. You get the reticule when your out of Archery mode just line it up with something and then bring your bow out to fire, choosing the correct moment to fire. The bow will always travel in a figure of 8 on it’s side firing at the correct time will get you an accurate shot every time.
Unless you move the mouse of course.
I totally agree. Just one play through of the entire game from one person and they would have discovered so many bugs. It’s quite obvious that they never tested the final product. No one in their right mind would release it at this state…
I´m playing on PS4 and just had one hardcrash after playing for 10 hours, but that´s it.
