First of all, excuse me if I missplaced this topic. I want to touch some different issues and I feel like Gameplay could be the more appropiate category.
So I bought the game the past week and had played 15 hours already. I’m really glad of all that I encounterd until now. Just to touch a topic almost everyone is talking about, I’ve only encountered two bugs so far. The first one (is not really a bug) happens when I try to escape from the Warhorse Logo Intro. If I do it, the game goes CTD (though I can escape the historical intro without issues). The second one was some minutes ago when I tryied to use the Alchemy Workshop on the Witch’s Hut near Uzice. When I push to use it I start floating towards the sky and if I push ESC I start falling to a certain dead. Just like the guy on this video.
But that are the only ones I encountered so far. I’m running the 1.2.5 version and everything else goes smooth as silk. So I guess I will wait for the new patch before continuing and see if this bug is resolved
I would like to praise the gameplay but I think it is no necessary, everything in it is impressive and excels at it’s purpose. Combat is defying but at the same time rewarding each time you learn a new approach to it. Archery feels like something even harder to master but equally rewarding and hunting mixtures such a lot of factors like aim, sneaking, noise, quickness, etc that it is incredible to feel really like if I was learning to hunt with a bow!
Seriously guys, this game is brilliant. I’m even more excited for the possibility of learning new things as to read, or to mix plants and substances, or new combat movements. It has almost anything I could ask of a Roleplaying game.
My only requests for future games, or DLCs would be to improve the NPCs personalities (they look a bit like the old TES IV: Oblivion’s NPCs used to look like, if you know what I mean), that made conversations a bit dull, sometimes and of course to make even a bigger map. I always crave for exploration.
