Fabrics in game function?

Does anyone know if they have a function when you start out in Skalitz

If you go to one of the Traders he has a wide variety of fabric precious fabric at that with some cool patterns and colors I wonder if they can do anything with that or is it just some useless object for some immersion prop?

Its An immersion prop maybe with An expansion they Will be made useful for maybe tailoring clothes

But for now its Just An item you can use to traden with
