Face, Sound and cut scene bug - Xbox one

The game ran smoothly up until I returned all of the items Henry’s father requested. Then there were no longer cutscenes. So I have to fill in the gaps (mainly by dying) as I escaped the Skalitz battle. Once I arrived at talmberg it skipped straight into the castle.

From then on any minor/main story line character doesn’t have a face or voice. Only due to subtitles do I have any idea of what is going on. I’m trying to play through it but it’s surprising how frustrating it is having to read every word to understand what is going on. Especially when sword training. Does anyone else have these issues?

Same issues. Most my NPC have no faces. Cutscenes are not working properly. Either their is no cutscene at all when their should be or the scene has no sound. I’m in the same boat as you. I have no idea what’s going on In the story I’m just winging it right now. Pretty frustrating

Maybe we could try uninstalling and reinstalling? Because I’m having same problem… The only reason I know what’s going on is I’ll watch a playthrough on YouTube to where I think the cut scene is.

I turned the console of at the wall. Someone else on whe forum suggested it for another issue. Every thing is working fine now. Only minor freezing/loading times to complain about now. Didn’t have to reinstall it.

I had the exact same problem but turning off the console at the wall works

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it fixed it

I tried what you suggested and it’s a step in the right direction. At least all my NPC have faces to look at now. If anyone is having issues similar I suggest trying this method first before uninstalling and reinstalling.

I also experienced the same bug, OP. I skipped the cut scene after the horse chase to Talmberg and then I didn’t have any voice over audio, but could hear ambient/music without an issue. The game autosaves after Lady Stephanie annoyingly wakes you up after your traumatic day and doesn’t even bother to give you a blowie, but just talks your head off. I force quit the game after this and reopened and the voices were back.
