I went to start the game, which I have been playing all day, but this time it told me some error about illegal characters so I uninstalled the game to try the basic “Turn it off and back on again” kinda maintenance, also the install went fairly quickly so why not? I hit reinstall and it simply says “failed to install game” no error code, nothing. This game is truly fantastic and my pc is more than capable of running this game on Very High settings as i have done it, but since i got its been more trouble than its worth with crashes, sudden frame rate drops, and now this. I figure it is a beta so i looked past the frame rate drops and crashes, but now I am getting ticked because I can’t even play the game. Please don’t tell me i have to re download the whole game, it took like 8 hours with my connection…

well, that sounds not so good…
This error is new to me…so an investigation through the programmer makes sense…
There are two kinds of Log files:
c:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\GameLauncher\ GameLauncher_.log
and
c:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\ KCD_Beta_Access_.log
(Example: KCD_Beta_Access_20160318170105.log)

[/quote] Well, if the game was uninstalled, than you have to install/Download it again…sorry… but the Programmer have to look into the Logfiles to give you a reliable statement.
