I think to myself. I will climb off my horse and check the fallen for any good loot.

Happened to me today. While sitting on my horse, i have dropped some stuff infront of a wanderer, about 30 items. I’ve been watching the wanderer collecting all items except the torches. When he went away, i tried to dismount.
==> Death by falling damage

That’s probably linked to the “pole vault” animation when you climb up, it’s a very big horse apparently, a ladder would be safer when climbing down!
All I was doing was going to take care of a bandit camp for an activity quest from sasau in Skalitz. I went to hide my horse in some bushes. I heard a voice in the background, “ever feel like ending your life” or something like that. I got off my horse and fell to my death. LOL . just can’t figure that out. the terrain was pretty flat in the area I was in. anyway, I hope I never encounter that again. I thought there was a bandit near by saying those words.

Mean while I fell down the biggest cliff in the game yesterday and only really scraped my knee lol tho I found a bug I never seen before, climbed on my horse and it was like there was a fortnite launch pad in the saddle…must have flown 200ft in the air
