The fast travel after 1.3 sucks. I’m posting this because I’m hoping that if someone sees this, things in 1.4 will be different. In my first play through, 1.3 wasn’t out yet, and I had most of the map discovered. This was thanks to fast travel. Now, after I started a new game in 1.3, it just bugs me to have the entire map covered after I fast travel to Talmberg. I’m one of the adventurous people, and I like having the map available at the start. Now, to clear the clouds, I have to go there my self, and with no horse or money to buy one, this is really hard at the start. If you tell me to wait till I get Pebbles, again I’m adventurous and want to see all the towns and land. Also, in my new play trough, the lockpicking requirements were raised, and now I can’t rob the armorsmith at level 1 like I did in my first playthrough. I don’t want lockpicking requirements lowered, I just want it to be easier to earn money. Because if money is easier to earn, then I won’t have to be a thief, and Rattay won’t hate me, which interferes with some quests.
The game isn’t meant to let you unlock the whole map by fast travelling. Obviously it was a mistake to allow it when it first came out. You say you’re adventurous yet you’re complaining that the game is making you go out into the land to clear the clouds. You’re contradicting yourself there
The lockpicking is simple once you actually practice and I don’t understand why you’re struggling to raise money. I haven’t once had to farm money and I’m always 10k upwards without even trying. It’s just a matter of picking up everything an enemy drops and selling it to peshek. That’s what I do with everyone I kill
If you want quick money, just look up the maps of all the treasure chests on google. Boom. Done. You’ll also open up most of the map walking to them.
