i have tweaked nothing in said file and have checked the mods i have and none of them cause it as i understand i necessary i will list the mods i have
1st take off all mods and see if the game loads with out any mods.

patch 1.6 and the DLC will screw with mods to the point of screwing up the game. Unless the mod says tested on 1.6 beware and test out mods you try. Some mods will still be ok even if not updated for a long while while others won’t. and Strangely inside the DLC some cause problems but not outside the DLC area.

longshot300mag is 100% dead on, mods and this dlc dont mix well. i have 4 basic mods that still seem to work good. i had more but once i got the dlc i had 3 mods that broke my game until i removed them. off the top of my head i can name spearmans delight as a cause of my dlc not working.

That I remember. to do anything in the dlc I hafta go vanilla
ah, i had the cheat mod active, thanks for the info i have removed all my mods but the game is updating so i will get back to you both when it is done
DO NOT USE : own all stolen items command! will CTD. for me everything else still works and work in the DLC area but screws up the game inside the area.
yeah, i heard about that one, not a command ive ever used so im safe from that
thank you both, removing the mods solved it now i guess its a case of trial and error to find the one that caused the issue, judging from the message i got its most likely something that tweaks my player stats
