Hello everyone! I would like to thank the developers and their team for creating this beautiful game and present some feedback and perhaps criticism.

World building and the setting are very well done - it was extremely enjoyable for me to immerse myself in the world of KCD. User interface is amazing. Implementing the stylised approach and evoking the visual style of the era was an excellent move (instead of the regular soulless digital looking approach we are accustomed with).

Main quest is quite good, some side quests are beefy and nice as well but the world could use some more meaningful activities. A career in unarmed fighting comes to mind. A kind of league encompassing different castles/ villages. Tournament melee fighting would be good as well. Hunting activities are unsatisfying since it feels like nothing is accomplished in each step. I felt I was better off just selling the skins and meat to vendors and repeat.

I felt combat and its combination with RPG stats was very well done. I see there is some backlash from hardcore players concerning end game. I thought the aspect of preparation and training to become more powerful was great. ( I am at mid-game though to be honest.) So since this is a RPG the feeling of power should not be absent, but I agree Henry shouldn’t be able to wipe out cities. Gentle balancing here and there will be suitable I am sure. Just don’t make training and stats useless for the sake of providing a constant punishing experience.

The game could use more challenging encounters with 1-2 adversaries. Especially if the player’s capacity to handle groups is going to be further reduced. This will provide a good way to grind and train, and a change of pace. Existing encounters are repeated too much, more variety is needed I think.

I am sure you guys are already working on it but, optimisation needs work. Texture pop - ins are very immersion breaking. Various bugs need fixing as well, it goes without saying.
That’s it. Again, heartfelt thanks and congratulations for a job well done. Cheers.
