Finisher animations to improve realism for KCD

Using a sword to slash and thrust plate armor parts and still kill a guy in plate armor looks so boring and unrealistic. So i made this suggestion, hope it wont be hard for devs:
Every last hit to kill a heavily armored enemy will active finisher animations with swords: a bloody thrust into enemy 's eye slits.
Do you think this is a good idea? Skyrim used the finisher animation to make its bad combat gameplay less boring, u know.

I don’t need such dramatic and brutal moves. But if it happens, it would be nice if it would be optional, so i don’t have to use it.

The stiletto, the pollaxe and the bodkin arrow (or . . . well the “Type 16” version anyway!), if not the crossbow, should probably be the “go to” weapons, but aren’t. I’m no expert, but I cannot help but wonder if this is in fact “historical”

ADDIT: This is kinda cool. Never saw all the bewildering diversity in them represented in such a concise and clear form.

It wont look brutal and scary as you think if blood is turned off. The game is supposed to be a medieval simulator RPG, so this feature is a must.

@dichebach: The truth or whaterver, no one uses sword to pierce plate armor directly, even Oakeshott Type XV pointy swords. Using the tip to thrust at eye slits , armpit, gloves or unprotected gaps is the real way to defeat plate armor with swords. So the finisher animations is probably necessary for a Medieval sim RPG like KCD.
