Fire arrows (not in battle)

I see fire arrows in the KC:D trailer, and it seems that they use them against the enemy army.

Lindbeige did a video on this. Fire arrows existed, but they were never used against enemy armies, because they would be completely ineffective against them.

What army are they using those arrows on?

Pretty sure that scene is from the burning of skalice, which would make sense why they’re using fire arrows.

When? There is only one arrow loosed in that trailer and it was not on fire.

At 0:21 in the trailer by Deepsilver the whole army fires firearrows.

Quote, Sir Warriant:
“110 yards ‘only’…”

Yes, only. That’s a comparatively short distance. Lindybeige even makes fun of that fact:

300 feet, or 110 yards is not short, it’s two full length football fields. . You will not be getting through ANY armor at that range, period.

Whait. But you was arguing FOR the assumption that firearrows were indeed used in battles, weren’t you?

No, i was arguing your laughable notion that 300 feet is a short distance for a bow is wrong, especially when you’re fighting people who are armored.

And in regards to fire arrows being used in battle, i pointed out that the part in the trailer where they’re shooting fire arrows is when they’re burning Skalice to the ground, not engaging an enemy army, and in that case it makes perfect sense to be using fire arrows.
