Floating Bug

I have come across this bug twice now. During combat with bandits while fighting on a small hill, I will start floating. Not upward. If I float toward the hill, my feet will start touching it and the walking sound comes back. If I start walking toward the downward slope, I start floating again. I tried fast travelling, talking to npcs. The only fix I found to this was walking toward the hill and get my feet back on ground, call my horse, and mount it. I can now dismount my horse, and everything is fine again. Anybody else discover this particular bug? I have read about the continually floating upward bug, and this is not that as I’ve described.

This happened to me on PS4 when I was fighting some bandits west of Skalitz. I was afraid I was going to go flying into up into the atmosphere (which is what happens whenever I try to use the Herb “Witch” Alchemy bench in the forest) and it was going to be another comically frustrating insta-death when I plummeted back to the earth. Instead, I surprisingly was able to use it to my advantage and kill the heavily armored bandits with far too many arrows (what’s that about, Warhorse). I was able to call my horse, remount, and dismount onto the ground again. Such a glitchy game but in this rare instance, I’ll take the fantasy floating moment and roll with it.

True, when it happened to me mid-combat, I also tried attacking the bandits. I got one, but the other ran away. When I went into town trying to fast travel to fix it, people just kept asking me what I was doing. At least there is a way to fix it by calling your horse, mounting and dismounting it.

Happened to to me twice (or was it three times) this evening…

Happened to me twice so far, only in copmbat and only going down a slope or over a river. Useful in that you can kill the bandits without any risk but faintly annoying!!!
