I’ve been trying to change my forum name from all caps into upper and lower case but it seems to be stick as is.
Is anyone else having this problem/managed to sort it out themselves?

No, there are quite a few people with a mixture of caps and lower case in other threads.
Oh I guess they do appear sometimes with both in threads. On the main topic page when you scroll over someones avatar their name appears with both. Both my name and yours do.
When I log in I only capitalize the P
For admin:
Please add text-transform: none and font-size: 100% even for .ember-application h1, .ember-application h2, .ember-application h3, not just .ember-application h3.staff, .ember-application h3.new-user
Nicks will look much better.

Lets see how this develops 
I don’t mind it, but it definitely works better with short names.
When I save my profil my name shows up woth upper an lower case. After restart my browser my name is all in upper case
