Found a neat trick to sell hunted/poached meat easier

So at the point i’m currently at atleast, going hunting for whatever animals i can find is pretty much the absolute ebst source of money. But i’ve always come across the issue that it counts as stolen (because it’s poaching) which makes it harder so sell as you nee dto find someone buying stolen goods before the meat rots.

But i’ve found that if you cook the meat it counts as not stolen and can be sold to almost anyone.
Just though this might be of use to someone.

But doesn’t that drop the price per item?

I dont think it does actually

If it does it is a small amount, better then getting nothing as its stolen and only Millers will buy it. But, I’m betting that will be fixed…honestly it makes no sense. Every one knows and acknowledges henry, so every one knows he is not a hunter(if you’re not a master huntsman anyway). So it would go like this:
Henry - "Wanna buy this meat"
Trader - "What?! Thats poaching! Get out of here before I report you"
Henry - "It’s not poached, see…its cooked!"
Trader - “Oh, pardon me. In that case, I’ll buy 157 pieces of it my good man”

Makes no damn sense

I think its intended and for me it does make sense
but the price shouldnt be as high and you shouldnt get as much meat out of it

You can sell it to the Millers without worrying.

That’s why I think cooked meat should sell for the same price, or even better then raw as its already cooked ready to eat…however you should get waaaaaay less per animal, or the amount you can harvest should scale based on Hunting level, and it should remain stolen so you can only have limited people to off it to so you have to travel a little farther or keep you hunting a little more specific to sell it without it spoiling. I do think, freshness should increase slightly when cooked, or let me cure it.

Plus apparently once you become a huntsman you can legally hunt, so you would then be able to sell your meat easier. Incentive/bonus reward of finding/doing that quest line or however you get it.
