So started a hardcore mode and I went to Kunesh’s house, talked to him, avoided the fight, got told to get the goods with alternative means and when I went to the chest and did an unlock attempt I was never prompted to go talk to Fritz to get lock picks…doesn’t matter really as I’ve passed this part already and said fudge it I’ll level up later but is anyone else having this issue?
Also, unrelated, I got tired of it not working so I failed a KO on Kunesh to prompt the fight and whipped his candy ass…he’s actually no more difficult than the first time I played the game, I also ended up fist fighting a Bailiff and beat the brakes off him too lol
I know that there is one specific way to get this to work:
Talk to Kunesh first (before triggering the cut-scene where you hear the Deutsch talking sh*t about the King). Then, you’ll need to have at least 3 in Speech in order to be able to convince him not to fight you. Then, you go inside his house and you only need to approach the chest to trigger Henry to say that he needs Lockpicks and to ask Fritz.
This is the only way I managed to do it.

Maybe my speech wasn’t high enough, I took both speech options with mom but other then that idk. No biggie. Next problem is I’m on the hunt with capon, just found him and untied him without fighting Cumans…next load screen I heard combat music but the screen never loaded. Just reloaded and will try to just kill them and see what happens
Edit: it worked after killing the Cumans, so anyone reading this do that lol.
Also, Capon kept saying “it took 3 of you” but there were only two in the camp…
I heard him say that also I was thinking it was from we’re he hit his head
