I started a new game to play the DLC. When I got to the DLC content I was able to build the woodcutters camp and then left a couple thousand groschen in the chest. I left for a couple in game days and came back with a few thousand more to put in my chest. When I got back the build option on both the book and the locator has disappeared. I have seen a couple people talk about this but haven’t seen a solution other than to verify game integrity on steam which didn’t do anything.
Edit: I am a retard. Just had to wait a while so that the workers would get paid.

I had the same problem man, if u didnt have enough money in ur chest, the villagers stop working and for some reason this causes the option “lets build” to not show up, so u have to fill the chest again and wait a full day for it to come back, as for the locator disappearing, sometimes he did that to me too. Try to wait till night timewhen we comes to bed to see if he hasnt completely disappeared.
IF he doesnt appear, …you may need to load back a few saves. Thats how i correct some of the game’s bugs by loading back a few saves before
