From the Ashes no English voices

I haven’t been able to find anyone else that has this issue.

None of the characters in the new DLC have English voices for any of the dialogue, I switched language to French and the voices are there. I have the GoG version of the game. I’ve tried reinstalling multiple times as well as disabling HD voices. Checking the logs shows it doesn’t load the patch_010600.pak localization file for English where as it does for French. I don’t know how to force the game to load a .pak file so I can’t do any further investigation.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I use GoG and had no problem with English voices and I have the HD pack in play.
Now if you mean British accents………

Well I’m at a total loss, I guess I’ll just hope it gets fixed in a patch

I have the same problem. All dialog’s voices work except from the ones from the From The Ashes DLC.
I’ve got the steam version of the game.
What I’ve tried but to no avail:
Validate the game in Steam
Disable HD Sounds, HD Voices English, HD Textures
Reinstall HD Sounds, HD Voices English, HD textures
Turn off Dolby Atmos

Nothing worked.

Unfortunately this is a game breaker for me :-/

I just switched to German HD and it works, so looks like the patch for the English version doesn’t load the audio patch.

To add to my investigation:
I’ve deleted the only mod I had (cheat mod), deleted system.cfg and had steam validated and re-downloaded the file, but it still wouldn’t work.

Even though I know German, so it’s not a huge problem, having the English voices back would save my ears!

I’ve had the same issue! Glad its not just me, patch 1.6.2 did not fix the issue sadly. Have you had any joy?

I did end up fixing the issue. I was running a Windows 10 insider build which was giving me some issues, so I reformatted back to the latest stable build and now the English voices work.
