Future dlc Idea

I’ve recently finished from the ashes and I want more already! Being able to build your own village (even though divish owns it) is some I love in rpgs (such a skyrims hearthfire and fallout 4). An idea I’ve had is that I’m thinking how interesting it would be for Henry to become a lord at some point later and have his own fief. Being able to not only build a village but develop his own keep, add even more buildings to a village possibly turning into a town and adding more depth to the management mini game warhorse added with from the ashes. I just thought it’d be an interesting idea. Let me know your thoughts

The big red flag here is realism, maybe in a future game due to your relation with ****** but a blacksmiths son having his own castle? No realism there, otherwise I love the idea tbh, full access to all buildings and arming/ training your own men would be amazing

I agree with you on the realism. It would have to be in another game, maybe even a mini-expansion as a different character.

That being said, Prokop said during the livestream QA that they have plans for Skalitz in the future. I wonder what that could mean…

I have been concepting a game set in the kingdom come world and style that would be a lot more about the strategic running of a fledgling city and building it into a Rattay/ Sasau level city. You still build up the same way you did with Henry and lead attacks against bandit and Cuman camps in the region while defending and ruling your lands

But he’s not a blacksmiths son. He’s the son of Sir Radzig so at one point he could maybe inherit Skalitz

The realism is not the issue at hand, there are countless cases of people getting knighted and even elevated to the rank of Lord in the HRE. There where literally hundreds of independent and semi independent principalities in the HRE, add the many thousands of vassals to that and I am certain there is historical precedent for a lowborn to be elevated to a lord.

No, the problem with Henry becoming a lord in this game is time, the story is obviously transpiring over quite a short time, a summer at the most and there would just not be enough time for Henry to complete his journey and do what is required as a lord. So I agree that titles, castles and active scheming in the HRE for Henry is better suited for later games in this series.
