Pay attention to the terrain near the bird nest before you shoot it because those nests roll downhill REALLY good. Chased one downhill for over a minute. Lost it in some tall grass but managed to see it after I made it through. I shoot them from horseback now. Just in case.
Just one of those stupid yet funny things.
LOL I had something similar last night hunting hares west of Sassau where it’s really hilly, shot the hare then had to chase it down the hill to loot it!
I punched a chicken and it started to roll away…comedy

yes that’s already happened to me. reminded me of this:
You might have already looted that nest.
I’ve found a couple of nests that respawned that I remember shooting down before that behaved like this.
