I just started playing KCD I been playing roughly about 20hrs, I got killed in a mission and wasn’t able to load my last game. It loaded up a game I played 6 days ago! 
so I played countless hours to make up & catch up where I was, the game crashed! I don’t know if it’s worth doing it all over, I’m scared if it crashes again. Love this game but I wish I can make up what I lost.
Similar thing happened to me [PS4], completed 2 quests, slept in a bed couple times. Game crashed and when i started it back i saw the last save was 2 hour old. But i saw it was saving many times!
Irritating, i have not seen such buggy game for awhile.
Fed up giving lowest rating.
Do you think maby because I have a lot of saves?
