After not having played the game for a half a years, I started playing again. Or i tried. I had to install a 12 Gb update and after that the game is totally unplayable. It freezes after a couple of seconds, again and again and again.
I have all the latest graphics cards updates but to no avail.

Send your log-files from the main KCD folder, too.
Meanwhile, try to uninstall all mods you have, if any. Then, if you’re on Steam, right-click on the game, select Properties, then Local files tab, then Verify integrity of game files and wait until it finishes. Start the game again and try playing. If it works, start installing your mods one by one, running the game after each one and trying to play. Or better, look at Nexus whether your mods have been updated. If not, they are most likely incompatible with the latest version of the game.
