Game crashes after loading game

Ive looked around and cant seem to see anyone with the same problem. Most people seem to freeze on the load screen, but mine loads fine, press enter, continue game, loads game and as its populating the game in front of me it crashes, happened a few times in the last couple of days and now unable to load game. I have bought a GTX 960 for this game and have 8gb ram on an I5-2500 3.3GHz so i dont think it my pc??? and i really dont wont to start a new game…again

Any help or advice would be appreciated

The savegame feature is experimental (means very buggy). It seems like you need to start a new game. This savegame feature is one of the most wanted features since the beginning of the alpha testing as it takes about an hour to get some meaningful overall gameplay experience. But devs said, that it’s really difficult to implement, mostly because of all the AI’s and their current states.
