Game crashing and force to reinstall GPU drivers

Hello,

Your game is truly amazing. But i have a problem with random crashes. Here is my configuration:
CPU: i5 4460 (Obviously no overclock)
MOBO: MSI Gaming 5
GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6GB (Stock state, nothing changed)
PSU: Corsair HX 750 platinum
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 (No XMP)

My problem is, that during playing, game goes down. Monitor goes black. Fans on GPU start to spin on top speeds, and thats it, nothing helps, but turn off computer (still works, but without signal to monitor).
Then i have to reinstall drivers (version 390.77). These crashes are after about hour of playing, but once it was after seven minuts. It is not triggered by temps, or voltage problem. It ssems, that it is triggered by some aspcet of game. Once in the woods, few times in town or village…

I checked all the temps trough MSI afterburner, all good. CPU between 40-50 degrees, GPU around 55 degrees.

CPU is dancing between 85-98 % load, but temps are ok. GPU is running almost all the time on 100 %, but temps ok.

System events log says same thing everytime:
Attention - The nvlddmkm display driver stopped responding and was successfully restored. (two or three times)
Attention - The display driver failed to start. Instead, the Microsoft Basic Display Driver will be used. Try using Windows Update to find a newer display driver.
Fatal error - Description of event ID 14 from nvlddmkm was not found > This shows up like six or seven times.

All theese erros are in same times, like in same second. It is evet 14 everytime.

I did run:
Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility - Tested CPU and RAM, all good.
Cinebench - OpenCL and CPU - All good
OCCT - Hour of stress test - No problem
Asus Realbench - No issues at all.

I have tried:
Ultra settings 1080p - About 40-50 fps
Highest settings 1080p - About 45-60 fps
High settings 1080p - About 50-75 fps (i had to unlock 60 fps lock, which was still there)

So, my problem seems to be really connect just with your great game. I have lost about 6 hours of gameplay by now… But it is ok, it is great game, i can do that again, but for now i have to put game aside, i dont have time to play same paths twice…

I am not expecting soulution from you guys right now, just reporting and your “bugzilla” system is not working at this moment, hope you guys can see this post. If you need some kind of log or something, just let me know…

Try much lower settings. If GPU is overclocked try disabling that. Turn all the graphics to lowest settings, try much lower resolutions. I’d start with everything at the lowest/minimal graphics settings, if you still have issues then you know its something outside the graphics settings. If it works, then gradually raise them till you find the highest level that works.

Will try that. Thanks for advice. If it is connected to graphics settings, i believe that i will be gone with some update in future. That would be good news. Other games works all right. No overclock on GPU but those from manufacturer tho.

I will report later, tommorow i can try 1,5 or 2 hour tests of gameplay on different settings.

So, everything seemed ok. Yeasterday i played for two hours without crash on high. 1080p, did not touch any setting.

Today about hour of playing, and boom, black screen, fans on 100% and lost my progress, really good progess, about 7K of value found in the woods…

I suddenly do not have more time to spend with testing different settings today… I hope there is gonna be patch soon.
