Game economy + too fast xp

There is too many missions for me bugged. However i am willing to start the game again from the scratch but 1 thing is bothering me too much and that is the economy in the game.

  1. Why do I get 160 meat from 1 deer? after i cook it gives me too much money. Its way too much and it destroys the game.
Solution: Either make the meat count gathered from animals much lower or lower the selling price at the vendors.
Make the player really work their butts off for a good coin

  2. vegetable merchants and shops
How many of you really using vegetable shops in the game with all these carrots onions, beets etc?
    I really dont
They are completetely useless. Why would i bother eating these foods if they spoil soon anyways and there are no cooking recepies to make proper dish out of these. They are there just for show and i visit these just to sell them my meat if possible. Some of them dont even accept it so i dont need them. Sad thing is that the creation of these shops and markets was a big chunk of hardwork on devs part, unforunatelly wasted chunk

  3. Best armor is too cheap
I can make basicly couple of trips to forests and get some venison, cook it and recieve venison and when i cook it i somehow extract cooked venison kidneys (at least it says in my czech version of the game) that is worth 42 grochen per piece and i got about 100 of these from 1 animal. Idont even have the perk for extracting intestines of the animal. This is just insane. When i sell it i can straight away go buy the best armor in the game. I know its too late to implement things like prestige points where no matter how much money you have you cannot wear something unless you get certain amount of prestige or renown points?

4.The wandering knight
my character is lvl 11 strenght, have finished just couple of quests so I am at the beginning of the game basically and i already have the best plate armor just from selling some meat to vendors that are not even specialized in food stuff. Also what is the point of wining the duel with the knight and recive another best armour piece? He keeps poping all the time and i hit him 2 or 3 times, win the duel and get another piece if i want.
Some of you might say why dont u use worse stats weapons and armour then if you dont want to be 1 or 2 hitting enemies?
Well my answer is: I do as much as i can, but is it really what the devs were trying to make the player do? I doubt that.

5.traesure chests
Its a really a nice feature all that mistery treasure hunts…or is it?
My opinion is: it’s not
To get 1 of the best if not the best weapon in the game just by opening a chest totally visible close to the road without even being locked? Why dont we place only some non combat items in those chests then?(dice, rings, etc.)
I would expect to get better and better weapons and armor from defeating bosses like Rant and recieve lets say his sword as a reward, better then the best available from the vendor and so on.
Did the devs really not think that Youtube wont be owerwhelmed with locations of these trasure boxes?

The next issue I have is XP gain system.
The xps gain in some departments goes too fast and only in skalitz u can gather herbs and get to level 17 (out of 20 levels) by picking all the herbs and we are only at the intro section

I want to have an awesome experience playing this game and not fly through like a madman and work my butt off to achive something, however these issues spoiling my experience while playing the game.
I’d like to share my achievemens with my friends playing the same game and be proud of them.
(I am a Czech guy and bought the game in czech version to support the game and thats why my grammar might not be perfect in this article but I hope you got my point)

All above are my personal opinions on some game mechanics and xp level up system and cannot speak for other players

So ? It’s a single player experience. What really is the issue ? Stop watching Youtube for how to make quick money or stop using these ’ money exploits '. What perks are you using ? I started my game all over and now i try not to use certain perk’s. It really is up to you how you approach this game world. And what comes to vegetables why not, maybe some people are vegetarians like most peasants were or to make world real and immersive

the issue is some of the instances are too boring and repeated, missing variety and creativity in free roaming (cooking, weapon making since i am a blacksmith boy etc., just like alchemy is)

Wandering knight?
Beggars on tho roads?
i know exactly what is going to happen
Riddle guy is a different story that is the way to go. he gave me different riddle every time i met him, so I always stopped by, but the rest? I didnt even bother to speak to them. Why would I? My reputation in the region was already high just by finishing couple of quests. And had 10k grochen, best weapon, armor, got all recipes and read most of the books. That all i did at the beginning of the game just by killing couple of animals. I could 1 or 2 hit almost every1 in the game just by learning some sword techniques and that is in my eyes wrong

The issues i wrote above concern the too fast level up progress but it seems you have no issue with that and that is fine with me
I am not using any exploits and never will but the game economy is exploit itself
I dont like the option of playing the game for 3-4 hours and be able to carry the best weapon and armour in the game and I am pretty sure the devs were thinking the same way when creating it, otherwise what would be the point of leveling?

You want a game that keep’s going forever is that it ? How many hours have you got out of this game already ? They can’t satisfy every gamer’s needs.

I am trying to make it better, help devs to bring more variety and new thoughts about upcoming parts or patches

I agree with the overall message from the OP - that is the game becomes far less challenging in a short period of time. Understandbly, that is subjective, but more about that later.

The most glaring issues and idiosyncrasies affecting the difficulty of the game (that I’ve personally encountered) relate to the inclusion of treasure chests and a few specific quests. You’re able to attain the most effective longsword in the game via an optional objective & unlocked chest in the introduction of a quest in Rattay and the Nurembergian Cuirass through an easy-to-discover treasure chest. Afforded these boons, I haven’t come across an encounter that wasn’t a button mashing affair with a few easily executed ripostes/perfect blocks inbetween.

And this was all within 20 hours of gameplay. I haven’t looked up any guides, nor was I intending to min-max my character. In an otherwise authentic, enjoyable and challenging experience, it is the few instances of rewards grossly outweighing the effort put in that have distorted that experience for me.

Ultimately it’s the developers’ decision to alter the game, and the only reasonable suggestion I can make are to implement separate difficulty levels and perhaps a completely unique mode akin to a hardcore difficulty that have been introduced to many other RPGs before KC:D. Unbalanced perks and ease of skill/level progression only compound the issues I have with the difficulty of the game.

Finally, a single-player game and a challenging gaming experience aren’t mutually exclusive. Add different difficulty modes that cater to both sides of the playerbase.
