Every time I give Theresa a present (silver ring, etc.), game freeze and the only solution is to close the game in task manager.

Had the same problem , only after the second ring and a dress. Gave up on trying . still got the Bada-Bing! part
I can give her the gifts, but when we walk down by the river and return to the mill, the game freezes.
I figure that this game is so buggy, that I just leave that quest off. (Virtual box just isn’t he same as real anyway!)
