I have now updated the game after having big (huge) problems with the game shutting down or stoping, but…
now after the updated patches and fixes the game will not continue and stops when I have caputred sir jezek in the cane/abandoned mine in the quest “All that glisters”. WHY?
Before I updated the game and all the patches I could have the luck to get passsed that cutscene.
What do I have to do get the game running as it should?
Any mods in the file that need to be deleted?
How do you meen there? I have made all the downloads and patches to the game. It should work whitout problems.
And before I downloaded the patches, I could get passed that cut scene once. But not after the download.
So what should I do?
Do you have or have you had any mods? If so remove all mods. There is always a problem with mods since some alter the original file and then the entire game can still be affected by an outdated or corrupted file. If on Steam do a clean reinstall. Before reinstalling the game go to your C:drive and remove any old file associated with KCD. Then do a clean reinstall. Footnote… the re can be issues with hardware but that would not explain just problem you experienced. The game does have glitches and random “bugs” that will occur from time to time, it is not totaly problem free. Recommend save often.
