Game load failed ! Hours of progress lost

Lost 29 hours of progress, I can revert back to older saves losing hours of gameplay but there is no gurantee that this won’t happen again as people did try to restore their progress and got hit again with the same bug.

This had the potential to be an amazing game and it still has, but the experience is so shitty that I wish I hadn’t bought the game.

I just feel that I paid $60 to test the game for them and report the bugs.

I hope this would be fixed, but I really doubt a patch can fix a corrupted save file and I have already done my share of replaying hours due to other bugs that crashed the game.

I am not posting details of where am I in the story or what might cause the issue since I can see on google that this is a pretty common problem.

The same thing happened to me I’m livid. I have to restart from the beginning and I really do not want to do that. Both my saves are corrupted after 48 hours of progress. I am 100% heart broken because this game is so FUN… BUT you can’t get anything done. The saving being the way it is has caused this to happen. I’m level 15 in sasau doing a sir radzig quest and I can’t load the save I only have the one save

Keep going back to saves and just see which save is working. Hopefully it will be resolved with the next patch. I had to put the game down till the next patch comes out and it is very difficult I have been enjoying the game very much.

Hello guys,
sorry that you are having problems with corrupted saves. We just came up with a better system of saving which should at least not corrupt the whole playline. We are testing this and HOPEFULLY it will be part of the upcoming 1.3 patch. Plus we fixed another few issues that were causing this in the first place.

Just curious, the save issues are mostly from consoles that only have one or two saves?

I have a ton of save files on PC, and have not encountered any, is this exclusively from consoles or if the corruption will affect all save files?

I have more than a dozen of saves and got this issue. Other pc users already encountered this issue. You are blessed.

I think also some people used to delete older saves and it made it worse for them to revert back to older saves.

Yep, this is pissing me off. An awesome game with more bugs than any other I have ever played. This game should barely be in beta.
