Just tried to download the 4 GB update for patch 1.6. Got halfway through and it stopped, then the game disappeared from my library and uninstalled itself. I’ve tried to redoenload the game a couple of times now and it just keeps stopping unable to continue. Anyone else have this problem? I’m about to snap this disk and say screw it. Too bad cause the hardcore mode sounds pretty cool

facepalm i can’t believe they couldn’t get this right with the new patch.
If you could snap the disk on a YT vid, that would show how furious the community is with their latest patch.
Exact same problem here. I called xbox customer service and they said it’s a widespread problem with this update
It’s extremely tempting. So unfortunate because I love this game I want to keep playing it but i can’t keep excusing problem after problem after problem this is basic shit here. I’ve tried restarting my console and using an Ethernet connection to eliminate my WiFi as a source of the problem. Guess I’ll go shoot some dice for real while I wait

I’ve set my XBox to play “off-line” so I haven’t seen the available update.
GLAD I read these posts before downloading Patch 1.6.
Guess I’ll wait for 1.10 or better yet 2.0 !!!

Finally got it to work, on the other thread for this topic I said no issues but I just realized I did lose quite a few saves on my current play through but compared to not being able to play the game at all that’s a trivial issue. Probably an hour or two of play time
