For Xbox today. I’m not running it again until I hear more. I’ve never had to ask for a refund from the Microsoft store but this may be my first. I’ve never gotten responses from Warhorse on crash issues I post here and patches aren’t helping.
Do you mean xbox one firmware updates? Not the new game patch right?

Ah see what you mean. My title was poorly worded. I’ve edited it. I’m talking about today’s game update for Xbox.
I don’t know why it would harm your Xbox or the game to try and run it again.
The game has other issues, including bugs that prevent me from finishing quests. I’ve had soft crashes before and early on hard crashes that killed my Xbox’s power. And now after an update I can’t load into the game without my Xbox shutting off.
I’m not going to keep trying when the game has a list of issues since release.
Sorry to hear that mate. I definitely understand that frustration. I’ve seen quite a few other games have these kinds of issues for a few weeks after launch and they usually are sorted out within a month. Hoping most of these bugs are worked out soon as well because this game is a lot of fun when it is working.
No doubt! I tried to push through because it was enjoyable, but I’m not going to risk more power shutdowns.
If you can stomach to wait, when I’ve run into a similar problem as you in the past, I have waited a few weeks and put the game on the back burner so that I didn’t get frustrated to the point of writing it off. Coming back then a few weeks on, the issues would be sorted and I could get on with enjoying it. Not saying that will happen, mind, but it might be worth shelving it for a week or so in your case.
Also, as frustrating as this is, it is worth saying that Warhorse is not a very large studio and I know that they are working diligently to work these issues out (which must be a nightmare on the various platforms). It just might take a bit longer than games released from larger studios .
Good points for sure. But a lack of communication isn’t winning them any political capital.
Having the same issue currently. Installed the new 10gb update this morning, and it’s happened three times since. Always at the end of the main loading screen. Hopefully they get this worked out soon.
I still haven’t heard from devs about it. I thought I’d give it a try. Now I’m crashing to complete power off before I can even load from a save, 3 times in a row.
That’s why i’ll stick to the old version until they release a stable patches.
