Game Wish List and the future of Warhorse

Right so, I probably should finish one candy bar before opening another BUT I’d thought I’d throw this out there. I think most of us know who Creative Assembly is, if you don’t, they are the makers of all the Total War games, (like Rome Total War, Shogun, Medieval ect…) My thought is that Warhorse could become the “Creative Assembly” of old world first person games with incredible detail and a rich story. Sooooooooo many times I’ve played Medieval II: Total War and thought “wow, I’d love a mode where I could actually go down into that battle and fight as one of the soldiers.” And it looks like warhorse is making that dream a reality.

So to my point. I’d like to see Warhorse really thrive on these kinds of games. In the future I’d love to see titles that take place in the Roman Empire, or in Feudal Japan, maybe in China, or Egypt or Greece? There are tons of empires, and warrior societies ripe for exploration. Not to mention just plain interesting time periods to delve into.

This actually gives me a thought. They should try tapping into the Total War audience I bet a lot of them would like to get a chance to fight in the army that they’d once upon a time been controlling from the sky!

EDIT: The first Crusade (or any of them really) would make for an AMAZING game.

Ever heard of Mount & Blade: Warband?

Actually no I hadn’t seen it. Someone mentioned Mount & Blade a while ago in a team speak but I’d never really checked it out. Neat stuff!

they still have act 2 and act 3, and possibly sequels or spin offs.

you’re discussing a new ip that at the earliest is years in the future.

why?

Tis why I prefaced with “I probably should finish one candy bar before opening another.” And why it is also a wish list.

A little I can understand. Taleworld also working on Banner Lords, is also a blast, but somehow go developer of medieval games always zoom out by a principal direction on this topic. Firstly, a mix would be a step forward, but apparently not enough imagination for the missing element. Open World, guys, what is an open World … na? Look beside to the keyboard and the screen…
