Every time I start an archery contest, a guard attacks. A second ago, the balif joined in and got an arrow to the face. I rolled back the game obviously, but I have no idea what about the contest triggers this

Do you knock an arrow to your bow before you talk to the Archery Master? You can’t have an armed bow or unsheathed weapon in town.
Pretty sure as I know they get pissy over exposed weapons.
I’ll give it another try to be certain
if it works like the one in Ushitz as soon as the score card shows you should have the bow in your hand ready to draw.
If you pulled it out before or had it on hand before the match may do it
Tried it again, went fine until I left the area. I was tagged for having committed a crime and stopped.
I tried a contest in a diff location with no issues, seems to just be in Ratt.
No big, I’ll just take my business elsewhere, lol

I am having a problem where the guards get aggressive and attack me for killing someone in the middle of the archery contest. I do not know why because there surely were no-one behind the targets. I think it triggers when I miss a target but it is getting pretty annoying…
