Getting Drunk on Saddlebags

In the horse inventory screen selecting equipped saddlebags and pressing X to move to your main inventory, then E to accept makes you drunk.
Bug/feature is repeatable.

I could not find anyone else with this experience on google.

My saddlebags have 1 durability and 0 condition.

It is not your saddle bags. It is your saddle. Take it to a cobbler( after you take it off the horse and into your inventory)and he can fix it. If it is not beyond your maintenance skill you can do it with a cobbler repair kit next time.
