Getting political

Are you willfully ignorant, or did you just come out of a fifty year coma?

Neither.

Just a tax payer who wants their money to go to the restoration of this country and its legal citizens. And not to the welfare of some other country’s citizens. I realize that’s hard concept for you to grasp because you’ve been fed a constant diet of liberalist propaganda ever since you were born if you’ve lived in CA your entire life

Even though you’ve admitted to the Democratic Party being the highly dysfunctional creature that it is (when it blatantly screwed Bernie over for Hillary. Who got the nomination for buying the Party out of it’s bankrupt condition (where it still is today). <== if Donna Brazil is to believed anyways.

Doesn’t sound as though you’ve ever left the state of California and lived somewhere else in the country or outside the US like in Europe, Asia or the Middle East? Because I have and consequently my overly populist view of how things should be in my country.

This is the one thing we can agree on. I just can’t believe you think a gangster is going to do it for you.

You have no idea what propaganda is. You rail against the elite 2% and then lick there boots when they give themselves 2.4 billion in tax cuts and leave the rest of us with a small payoff that will cost us more than you know.

If this wasn’t so sad it would be funny. Your not a populist. Your doing the bidding of the elite 2%. Your just too stupid to see it. Sorry about your bad luck.

@Justin1 He already has  Too bad you believe the garbage the MSM continues to brainwash the public with.

This is a bit outdated so need to add:

1.Negotiating the release of several stupid UCLA basketball players, one of whom was jailed for shoplifting. And received ZERO gratitude (particularly from one of the player’s fathers) for all his trouble.

2.Withdrawing from Iran Nuclear deal. Which he promised to do. And has actually done to date.

3.Opening cordial relations with N. Korea which will hopefully lead to more meaningful/substantive peace talks.

4.Getting 3 N. Korea hostages returned after said opening of relations with N. Korea. Alive and not in a vegetative state like Otto Warmbier. Those 3 former hostages are in route to America right at as of this moment.

#1 is something Obama wouldn’t have bothered to do while in office if Otto Wambier is any indication. #3 -#4 are something Obama COMPLETELY FAILED TO DO IN HIS 8 YR TENURE AS POTUS. Trump accomplished this in in less than 2 years in office and has yet to be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Yet Obama received one for doing absolutely NOTHING in the early months into his presidency.

Yet “trumpty Dumpty” has persevered—despite the 99% negative media coverage from the Progressive Left and Deep state institutions (corruption at highest levels of the CIA/FBI, Mueller Special Counsel appointed by HRC campaign with no real crime to investigate – and after 3 yrs has YET to officially declare Trump a suspect of his investigation, Obama illegally spying on Trump while as a private citizen, etc etc).

It is you who is painfully brainwashed. Free yourself of the chains which mentally bind you as a Field Negro and flee the DNC Plantation. But know that you need to be strong. For this act of independent thinking will be taken as an act of blasphemous defiance to the group think that is Progressive Liberalism. But unlike Kanye, know that you’re not important enough to attract the wrath of Master Schumer, Missus Pelosi & their House Negros (i.e. the likes of Perez and Ellison). But also know should you publicly admit to possessing an independent line of thought (like Kanye), that you’re still big enough to have the DNC Plantation to set its Progressive Left slave catchers and social media bloodhounds of public opinion after you
 :joy:

Once again --since you failed to answer me the first time–how much of a tax break did you

  1. Receive as a result of the Trump tax cuts and

  2. Received in the 8 years of Liberal Utopia under Obama? Be honest here. Did you even receive a tax break at all? :joy:

And no–and do NOT see myself as a “victim” which is a typical identity politics ruse the DNC Plantation uses to ensnare unwitting Field & House Negros alike.

I consider myself an independent thinker, who

1.is fiercely patriotic to my country
2.believes in American exceptionalism
3.believes in that rugged spirit of individualism & entrepreneurship which made this country the success it has been to date economically–and no, this economic success was NOT from any form of Socialism or Communism
4.believes in power of hard work will reward me the fruits of my labor (which it has to date despite Obama’s war of attribution on the middle class America)
5. believe in rising successfully/economically on my own merit and hard work
6.does NOT believe in government handouts, as this creates permanent financial dependency and laziness

And consequently, have no idea why you keep referring to that “2%”. This elitist class consisting of the rich progressive Left has zero meaning for me.

I couldn’t care less how the Deep State (aka Hollywood, Silicon Valley, overpaid & corrupt govt bureaucrats, Democrat lifers the likes of Missus Pelosi/Masater Schumer & Bernie, Congress, former POTUS who entered WH back bench Senators and now multi millionaires, Wall St moguls, the 2% elite billionaire babies (aka Bush twins), MSM foggies the likes of Brokav, Lauer, Megan Kelly & News Anchors etc etc) makes its money. How a cellulite ridden tub of lard the likes of a Rosie O’Donnel makes her money is her perogative. She – like myself-- is entitled to the fruits of her labor.

What she and other 2% elitist do with their tax cuts doesn’t impact my life (outside of taxation which Trump changed the tax tables on). So I couldn’t care less. Why are you so damned obsessed about what other people do with THEIR money? If you won $100 million in the lottery tomorrow and became that blasphemous 2%, would you be upset about the government wanting to tax your personal wealth out of existence? :joy:

Myopia
yet again (cf, link to CIA webpage above)

logical impossibility if you believe in American exceptionalism

Take your argument with Krauthammer outside

Hardly. He destroyed two of Israels most powerful enemies ( the Syrian civil war is finally starting to wind down, but the devastation gave Israel an upper hand in military might should a conflict ever occur again).

That is because the top ten % pay far more in taxes.

You think of 1%s as huge business tycoons, but the reality is many of the top 1% are small business owners. They are wealthy enough to live nice lives, but not wealthy enough to escape the ass raping when half of their money is taken away by the government each year. Only super super wealthy elites (multi millionaires, and billionaires) are able to higher an army of tax layers and find loopholes.

Also your “Evil 1%” rhetoric, is echoed by most enormously rich, and powerful people. You think you’re some edgy socialist revolutionary but you’re really just raging for the machine, not against it.

Just lol. Crediting social security for Americas wealth. Are you troll? First you claim Americas roots was Socialist, and now this. I’m sure you’ll respond in your typical fashion, making some non argument smug vague statement.

US economic success was in making it through the Great Depression without resorting to totalitarian/fascist governance as some other industrial states did. SS was the lynchpin of FDR’s social efforts that kept such tendencies in check. Not my opinion. Krauthammer’s and others

never said any such thing.

Restore what? Your wants appear to be failing as 200bil goes overseas

Citizenship is a legal construct so not sure why you added the otherwise redundant ‘legal’

Such as Smith act being sponsored and signed into law by Dems

This is what the turnip kids are pushing towards.

Small businesses are almost gone in this country. Restaurant owners and car washers rarely get into the top 1 percent. You must be referring to private contractors. While there are some that support hospitals and the like, most private contractors work for the government. The people who support the 200billion in overseas pie fing. There’s your 1%.

FFS. Has this become a branch of Breitbart or InfoWars?

Pray tell. If Obamas executive order was illegal HOW THE HELL DID IT STAY IN EFFECT until the traitor undid it?

Not even a Republican House and Senate would touch it.

What exactly does it mean to be among the top one percent of U.S. earners?

According to a 2013 Economic Policy Institute report, “to be in the top one percent nationally, a family needs an income of $389,436.” However, the threshold varies significantly among states. In Connecticut, for example, you need an annual income of $659,979 to be in the one percent. In New Mexico, it’s $231,276.

Keep in mind that these numbers just represent the threshold — the average income of the top one percent nationwide is $1.15 million.

People in the rest of the nation, on the other hand, earn an average of $45,567 a year. That means that, in 2013, “the top one percent of families earned 25.3 times as much income as the bottom 99 percent,” the EPI reports.

Reading comprehension isn’t exactly your best strength now is it? See the title of this thread. And more specifically, what section of the Forum aka OFF TOPIC section that this thread is in. If people’s opinions are so overwhelmingly upsetting to you emotionally, then seek the safety of a safe space ASAP. And whatever you do, resist the urge to eat Tidal Pods or drink bleach anytime soon
 :joy:

Precisely. This is EXACTLY the incredulous question which every non Obamaphile/non DNC Plantation and free thinker has been asking since 2015

Obama set a highly questionable precedent in extending the power of the Executive Orders by NOT ratifying this by Congress. One must ask WHY he never proactively pushed for this measure? Why did he instead opt for the easy way out aka write his own foreign policy WITHOUT THE EXPLICIT CONSENT OF CONGRESS? Was it because he and his cronies like Kerry KNEW they would NEVER be able to get Congress approval in the first place? :joy: But of course not. Why should the above reproach Obama — winner of a Nobel Peace Price after only several months of being in office AND DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO EARN THIS RECOGNITION —ever need the approval of the Congress of the United States elected by those lowly voter peasants (whom his Obamacare Architect Gruber was so fond of calling stupid?) Why be surprised at all when this is the sort of elitist, contemptuous attitude so many bureaucrats in the Obama administration had towards the American voter? And yes, this Democrat leadership contempt was extended to their peasant serfs on the DNC Plantation as well – not just Killary’s #Deplorables

Regardless, I have to give your boy Barry credit for the ultra slick way in which he and Kerry handled this latest bit of skull duggery against the American people. Subversively binding this country to abide by a highly questionable agreement which affected this country’s national security. An agreement which was highly questionable in its legality and which had more holes than a sieve
 :joy:

'
Tuesday, though, many opponents of the agreement argued that Obama’s failure to seek ratification was what allowed President Trump to end it unilaterally. According to Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.): “Donald Trump isn’t ripping up a treaty.
President Obama made a bad deal with Iran without support from Congress, and today President Trump is pulling out of President Obama’s personal commitment, and he doesn’t need Congress’s support to do so.” Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) tweeted that “President Trump had every right to withdraw the U.S. from **what was effectively an Obama executive agreement**.”
"

So in case you failed to grasp what the sentece in bold font means, here’s a translation:

OBAMA COULDN’T LEGALLY RATIFY THIS PERSONAL, RADICAL IDEOLOGICAL COMMITMENT WITH IRAN. BECAUSE HE KNEW HE’D NEVER HAVE THE BACKING OF THE US CONGRESS. THE US CONGRESS AKA THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT WHICH BTW, IS THE RESPONSIBLE BRANCH THAT PASSES OUR LAWS. MAKING TREATIES WITH FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS & STATES IS NOT THE FUNCTION OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH.

If you’re younger than a Gen Xer, then it’s quite likely your pro liberal education never exposed you to a course in American history or the US Constitution. So here’s a quick refresher of American Civics 101 as MANDATED by our Constitution:
1.There are THREE branches of Government: The Legislative, Executive and Judicial
2.The Legislative is responsible for PASSING THE LAWS AKA THE LEGISLATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. AND YES, THIS INCLUDES TREATIES
3.The Judicial is responsible for INTERPRETING THE LAWS AKA THE LEGISLATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. AND YES, THIS INCLUDES TREATIES
4.The Executive Branch is responsible for EXECUTING THE LAWS AKA THE LEGISLATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. THIS IS LEGISLATION WHICH THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH – AKA CONGRESS–PASSES. AND YES, THIS INCLUDES TREATIES

https://www.usa.gov/branches-of-government

BY PULLING THIS NATIONAL SECURITY STUNT THAT THEY DID BACK IN 2015, BARRY AND JOHNNIE SHOT THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT. POINT BLANK. YOU SEE, CHEATING KILLARY ('MEMEBER WHAT SHE DID TO BERNIE?) WAS SUPPOSED TO WIN TO COVER BARRY & JONNIE’S B$ ---- EXCEPT SHE DIDN’T. SO HERE WE ARE TODAY. THESE 2 CLOWNS BASICALLY LOST A LOT OF FACE WITH THE ISLAMIC WORLD. THE KIND OF STREET REP THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET BACK

Which also btw, would explain why it seems they have their knickers all in a twist as of late. And oh yes, Barry wrote A LOT of controversial, socioeconomically harmful Executive Orders WITHOUT Congress approval. This ranged from saddling the taxpayer with DACA to his controversial Refugee Resettlement Program for the “Muslim Pilgrims” whom he forcibly decided to import and again stick the taxpayer the responsibility for. After deliberately failing to stop ISIS. And proactively failing to work with EU leaders & Russia to stabilize the Middle East after Arab Springs. Funny how Barry failed to write an E.O. to secure Otto Warmbier’s release----given his skilled penmanship and autocratic mindset. But then again–since the N. Koreans PEACEFULLY dropped Warmbier off on US soil AND given Warmbier’s PEACEFUL vegetative state, then perhaps Barry’s Nobel Peace Prize was justified after all I guess. Especially after seeing how our country never came to blows over that memorable PR incident. But then again, the Obama administration NEVER had any scandals given that Obama was our first African American POTUS so

BTW: Barry’s highly questionable legislative policy making with his pen really picked up in his last 1-2 years in office. So expect Trump to do more of the same in the future. Personally, it will be highly entertaining to watch the former administration’s “legacy” being erased. Just like the letter “N” in the DNC Party stopped being a reality with the 2016 Electoral College.

So to all the Obamaphiles, anti American/anti Constitutional, pro Socialist, pro Communist, AntiFA, Never Trumpers, Rosie, 99% of Hollywood, FBI and all the bad actors who I forgot to name that make up the Deep State: DEAL WITH IT :joy:

Hmmmm. Looks like you just answered the WHY in your question above. At least, no sane Republican Congressman (be they real conservatives or conservative Independents, or Never Trumpers) with the exception of f@cking RINO CUCKs the likes of McCain & Flake.

Wow, a republican who understands the three branches of government. Impressive. Listening to the republican pundits lately I was beginning to think they all thought the judiciary fell under the executive. I’m glad to know there is at least one more thing we can agree on.

Well researched but completely unnecessary.

Given the previous diseration wall of text, I’m going to go the Millennial route and (tacitly) clarify my dissent to your reply in a non GIF way:

With the exception of the RINO CUCK at #6 and the evil, NeverTrump brothers at #7 & #8, every one of these top 10 richest people in America are flagrant leftists and/or fanatically support Progressive Liberalism in every way. Which IMO, is the height of irony given the poor, uneducated, homeless people who live in their communities (especially the Silicon Valley moguls). To be fair, at one point Zuckerberg had homeless living in his garage. Don’t know if this still true or not
:joy:

And the Wicked Witch of the West Wing, my favorite former DNC Plantation Missus:
RacistMSanger

Our Goldwater Girl was also a Robert Byrd protegee. Killary & Wille both attended his funeral:

In case you didn’t know who late Sen Robert Byrd was:

One day, Americans will finally learn how this half of the Clintons personally claimed to have left the WH in 2000 BROKE, yet ran and benefited directly from a pay to play billion dollar foundation barely a decade later??

Forget Horny Stormy. If you can afford this much cash for a buy off while AS POTUS, you damned well better believe you’re in that top 1%. And she was only one of MANY women that Willie was slowly driving Killary insane with–WHILE HE WAS POTUS! (Google hint: Monica Lewinsky)

Top 1% applies to these Village Idiots on my fav comedy central news channel:

CNN

And my favorite picture of all time. Top 1% applies to all except the peasants who are the first 3 ppl in top row and person from the right in bottom pic.

And then there is this guy who is some 90M+ richer because of his post POTUS book deal–Before you factor his recent Netflix and other future deals:

One more time for this “Private v. Public” positions 1% taxpayer troll:

Were the hell was #Meetoo when Slick Willy was (literally) allowed to run lawless, poaching in non martial forests? :joy:

The definition of propaganda taken from Wikipedia

Propaganda is information that is not objective and is used primarily to influence an audience and further an agenda, often by presenting facts selectively to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is presented.[1] Propaganda is often associated with material prepared by governments, but activist groups, companies and the media can also produce propaganda.

Holty, You are the clearest case of a propagandist I have ever seen. I bet dollars to donuts your paycheck is singed by uncle sam.

No Justy, it’s not. Hate to disappoint you though!
