I was wondering if anyone has found a way to get your stolen items back after you have been caught by a guard. After I had to pay for a fine, since I couldn’t get passed any speech checks or fleeing, the guard took all of my stolen items from me and my horse. My last save was hours before I had gotten most of the items and progress in the game. Is there a specific place where I can get those items back? Can I steal them back from the guard that took them from me?
Yes you can steal them back from that one specific guard I have to do it all the time

Who and where is this guard
Whoever the gaurd is that arrested you and says that he is taking your items. You are able to sneak behind him and knock him out and steal all of your items back. Make sure to do it where you guys are alone though if you don’t want to get arrested again.
