Getting the cuman leader helmet early makes too many items redundant

The cuman leader full helmet is so good, it works against the progression of helmets. I think this could be adjusted to a better power progression. I got that helmet quite early. And the vast majority of helmets I can save money for are now obsolete.

Also: Wouldnt people react badly to you, if you run around looking like the enemy?

Odd wearing the enemy’s armor, yes

Good fortune is good fortune. It should be hard to kill one (due to his support and own capabilities), but once you do you should be fully rewarded (not scaled).

Same here, with acquiring the cuman gear early on. During my third play-through, in hardcore mode, in the beginning when I was supposed to flee to Talmberg. Instead of running away on the horse, I just stayed and attacked the Cumans while riding the horse until all cumans that were generated to chase me were dead. I took a great deal of loot and armor in which I was able to start a nice little nest egg before the game really started up.

Better than i. Even w Skalitz guard armor and weapons, I got lit up with arrows and had to flee

I mean it was tough, and I died a couple times. I basically just ran back and fourth, in front of Theresa’s house. I made sure to try and kill the archers first as their accuracy is of the chains. But, it was fun! I love the fighting dynamics in this game.

i dispatched the chasing Cuman. died once. second time survived. then, stealth killed Cuman attacking Theresa. failed (don’t understand why). Kurva. got on Olenda. tried a few passes. didn’t work so well. so fled. didn’t retry after that

I currently play hardcore mode and only loot money and weapons off of my enemies and then buy my armor, giving me the feel of custom tailoring like irl. It also kinda feels like Im more responsible for my armor and want to keep better care for it. Adds to the challenge. I suggest you and other players do the same c;
As far as looking like the enemy, what is your conspicuous level at? It should be fairly high.

Well, I did not need to fight. It was the battle at Prybislawitz and the soldiers did all the work. I just was a little bystander getting the good stuff.

spoils of war. that’s a good thing!

fwiw, in my playthroughs, i’ve harvested countless leader helmets by the time i reach Pribyslavitz

I does seem out of place that you can wear cuman armor and nothing is said or reacted to.

especially odd given the importance of heraldry in the time period. kind of like a Royal Marine or Ranger donning an SS helmet

well its not just the cuman helm. i mean u can get all the best end game gear from treasure chests. you can have all the best stuff in the game and then start the game.

i do not get why cumans are ok with me when i walk between them in a cuman helm (armor and stuff) but sasau people dont give a damn when a cuman (me) is in their town …

Must be the smell :slight_smile:

would make more immersion and sense if you walked into town/village looking like a Cuman and the guards went after you.

instead… oh, Henry! :joy::rofl:

roaming and attacking Cuman on horseback!
