There has been a lot of Flak and conflict regarding KC:D difficulty.
I think it it less a matter of difficulty, as it is one of User Interface and the PCs (not the players) capabilities.
Henry, when we start to play them, is ill-equipped to survive in the world even if his family had not been slaugthered. He can do nothing well.
And that is a Huge part of the problem. Bow 3, with Agility and Strength at 5 is much more palpable than Bow 1 with Agility and Strength in their 2 or 3’s.
That might be something worth considering going forward (maybe give Henry not 2 But 5 or 8 points allowing a Player to be moderate proficient in at least one area of Expertise).
But that is so much spilled milk.
How do we go forward?
For One I’d like more options in regard to quirks connected to the skills. Bow and Unarmed so far have none at all while those of Agility and Vitality are seriously underwhelming.
So, for example, why not have a Quirk for the Bow Skill giving us an aim circle? Why not flat buffs to Health for Vitality?
