Good I need help I have a serious problem that does not let me play

the problem has not been solved I do not understand the truth but I have been looking for there and I saw someone who had the same thing but with different specifications … I do not know if it will be the same problem that I have but it seems to me that apparently I configure something of the bios and it is fixed to him it is possible that I have to do the same ¿?

The link to the problem is here http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2711109/system-crash-gaming-requires-hard-reset-day.html

a copy of the supposed solution

I’m running out of ideas, as well. Given that you’ve encountered this primarily when you’ve overclocked, it could indicate a power supply or motherboard with failing power delivery, but you’ve also encountered it when not overclocking…which could still indicate the same, but I would expect consistencies in some form if that were the case.

MemTest86+ is pretty quick to sort out if you have a bad stick, so you shouldn’t have to run for hours, but it is the most complete when you run it that long. Usually it will find a bad stick within a few minutes. Did you MemTest on all your DIMM slots on the motherboard, as well? I’ve seen motherboards that have bad DIMM slots but the RAM sticks were all good.

Guys, I cannot thank you enough for your support during this period.

I think I can finally confirm that I solved my issue.

Of all the things I tried, I rolled back whatever setting I changed and tested after every change. Turns out, what fixed this for me was actually PCI-E frequency. Just set it back to 100 and I got the crash again. And set it once again to 110, no crashes. Reverted NB voltage back to auto and no problems. I had also connected two seperate PCI-E power cables to the gpu and now I have connected it normally and still no problems. However whenever I set PCI-E frequency to 100 mhz from bios, I can get the crash. When it is 110, there isn’t one.

I will be testing in the upcoming days to be completely sure, however I think I can say the problem is gone.

YET, there is something I wonder… In my particular case, what causes this? Is it because GPU is faulty/defected/whatever that it needs a PCI-e frequency of 110 mhz or is it mobos fault for not being able to support my graphics card’s needs with 100 mhz of PCI-e frequency?

I will RMA my mobo in any case since its integrated sound chip has fried apparently, however I am not sure whether I should RMA my gpu or not. I mean, yes it won’t hurt to RMA it anyway, but I just wonder. What do you think?

Before further ado
do sort out the pci e slot

The card thinks its a pcie 1 slot
Either bios or move card up towards slot nearest cpu

It will sort out bandwidth (in a weird way not unlike setting 110, rather than 100:I doubt they’d be related)

Do so first cause it could lead to weird issues with card as it wouldnt be operating at a system level as driver makers would be expecting…

Pci e3 or even 2 gens have vastly more bandwidth.

Edit: dont forget to remove pc power cable and card.
Card shouldnt need extra cooling - passive model exist that a measure cooler VRM temps (other bit of card than runs hotter than the ‘gpu’ temp measured and shown in most monitoring rigs.) 1030s are very fine fabrication chips and these run cool.
60s degree ish seems to be their high temp that they all run at fan or no fan.

Another thing to try… Download this tool and run it… Make sure to follow every step closely. It’s an amazing free tool that will fix tons of issues on your PC…

Just chiming in to say that I currently experience the very same problem. I started a topic of my own and reported the problem via email.
Here is my thread

Oddly enough, I’m at the exact same point in the questline: Rabbit hunting with sir Hans. Something about that forest smells funky. So far I wasn’t able to find a solution to the problem; performance-wise everything should be fine (you can see my specs in the linked thread). Maybe together we can shed some light on this. Ask away in case you want to know anything.

EDIT: Like the person in the last post by FireandBlood, I use a FX-8350. Might be relevant, although for that person it seems like the motherboard or mobo interaction with GPU was the culprit.

Another post on a very similar topic.

Here, the problem was solved by using another PCI-E slot and securing the 6pin power cable to the graphic card, which seemed to be wonky.

then the problem is of the bios configuration? or the site where is the connected graphic card? … I’m sorry for asking so much I do not know very well everything … I’m going to upload a photo with the bios configuration and how it’s connected the graphic card …

Just check which slot the card is in… (is it slot closest cpu/RAM, like it should be…)

If the video card is seated in the mainboards first pci-e slot, then it is likely just a bios setting to allow the card to function in pcie2 or version 3 modes…

There is only one card slot … I pray that it is a bios configuration I upload the photos of how it is configured …

enabled is habilitado

Disabled is Inhabilitado

So that you understand it if it is not understood that it is in Spanish

Also in my PCELE specifications the speed now that you say it is abnormal no? I upload a photo of what I found …

Places :

The plate indicates that it supports:
PCI-Express x4 v3.0

Currently the speed is:
PCI-Express x4 v1.1

It’s possible that’s why?

Judging from the foto you uploaded the position of the card should be fine.

I did some more googling and problems like this are somewhat frequent - there is barely a common denominator though. Some suggest its RAM, some suggest it’s the motherboard, for others it’s the CPU or even power supply.
I was mainly searching for “system crash gaming hard reset” and that yields a lot of results.

The strange thing is that the error only happens to me in that part of the map … In the cities and towns ect ect that error does not come out … it is going to the forest of Talmberg with configuration the high and the error occurs … in other parts of the map does not occur … even in other forests like the south does not happen … I checked it several times … the error has only come out in this game in others never happened to me … The drivers and all things are at their latest version … and reinstalled the game several times and executed in several versions … Until corrected up to several problems of windows between one of them was that the computer eva a little lag me to start session because thanks to try to fix this error solved this problem xDD something good and removed … … I do not have external applications open when playing the game … I’ve tried almost everything and nothing …
