Good things that got changed from the Alpha

Here in the pre-alpha gameplay from 2014 I noticed some things that are better than in the final game. For example how NPCs are carrying sacks at 06:32 and 07:15. And the animation how the guard stop you at the gate at 07:30. And how the fabric of the tent moves in the wind at 08:44 (I haven’t notice that in my game somehow, maybe it’s there). And then people said there was volumetric fog in early versions? Why all these good things got changed?
