When i use Hd Textures and i alt-tab all graphik settings reset and the game switches from fullscreen to borderless (switches even without HD Textures).
how long does it take until you guys finaly fix the game?

It was just a suggestion to the problem. I know everyone is different, but when I play for immersion I don’t alt-tab. Furthermore in many games that are extremely demanding on hardware, alt-tab will slowly degrade performance if it doesn’t cause outright problems. This is one of those games where alt-tabbing a lot is just asking for trouble.
Please don’t accuse me for being a fanboy. I’m just saying this as a gaming veteran of a bajillion years. If a game that makes my computer cry can alt-tab I count that as a bonus, I don’t expect that. Same goes for when I play Warhammer Total War, Subnautica etc. A simple game like Surviving Mars right now poops itself when I alt-tab. Oh well, I guess I won’t alt-tab while I play it.
the graphics dont reset when i don’t use hd textures. and the thing that the game switches from fullscreen to borderless exists since the beginning. but fucking eastereggs are more importent than actually fixing the game.
the fullscreen to borderless porblem by using alt+tab annoyes me too.
I hope they will fix it with next patch!
i have no hopes for that. they had enough time to fix this little problem and they just don’t care it seems.

There’s a bug in video settings that resets advanced video settings every time you change video mode. So, as workaround, you can add these lines to your user.cfg file (in the main game folder, where system.cfg file is. If you have no user.cfg file, then create it in notepad).
bind d r_fullscreen 1
bind right r_fullscreen 1
With this every time you press D or right arrow the game changes mode to fullsreen (if not already there). In setting you will still see the other mode, but it’s the bug, the game really will be in fullscreen.
