I went to camp to meet radzig and all of a sudden they want to put me in jail. they said i murdered someone. i don’t even know who they were talking about because I didn’t murder anyone. Or at least nobody that wasn’t supposed to be murdered.
how do you avoid this? maybe there needs to be better options for when this happens.
Mebbe you bumped into and killed an NPC with horse and it didn’t register for you but for the game?
Take out a wayfarer too near a town?
To get out of this while still in game needs a high speech skill and perks/potion and charisma. Then you can talk your way out.
@longshot300mag: I have tried talking my way out of murder with the guards (even though I’m definitely guilty), it never worked, not once. It seems you need a very high speech skill. I guess approaching them with a bloody sword, dirty clothes, and stinking to high heaven (manly odor perk) didn’t help my case. I have no issues talking my way out of thievery though, but I usually just buy them off, then stealth kill to get my money back.
