WH showing us the decline of chivalry(in its direct sense), for in a dozen years the spread of firearms will begin and the order of things will change radically. So, the date of 1403 wasn’t chosen randomly by developers. It’s an interesting historical moment and etc. But, yeah, there were some firearms but it’s a few and they’re useless. So there’s won’t any in the game. It’s hard to develop(Mechanics and etc.) and they’re just useless to be in the game(firearms).
Just wait for the hussite wars. I’m nearly sure that than some firearms will appear.
Problem should be that you have to keep the powder dry and from time to time you should have to stir it with care because the powder ingredients will slowly separat over time. Granulation was invented later.
Those guns will be inaccurate, slow to load and will give the user a good punsh but armor would be useless if the bullet hits. Those weapons were used against buildings and formations hitting a single enemy in the open field you must be very skilled and lucky.
