Halberds all over the place

Ok, seriously, this is hilarious.
What’s up with all the damn halberds everywhere after 1.3? I mean SERIOUSLY, Rattay is LOADED with abandonded halberds everywhere!! And quite a few at Talmberg. Come on :stuck_out_tongue:

NPCs are protesting the buggy implementation of polearms.

Im pretty sure it has something to do with night mode.
I guess whenever it gets dark, they draw out their torches, thus abandoning the halberds (since they cant store them in their inventory :smiley: )

Add a new NPC, maybe one of the Skalitz refugees (Vincent still needs a job in my save), to go around in the morning and pick up any discarded halberds from the ground. :slight_smile:

If Henry touches the polearms, they despawn (WH intentional design). If NPC carries and drops them, the polearms remain. I have paths littered with NPC polearms.

or when you bump into the guards, they tend to lose those and never pick them up. really retarded bug/design. not sure if true but it could be also performance issue - the more halberds rolling around the streets, the more fps drop in the villages. not tested though.

I must admit. The amount of halberds I have found on the floor/next to beds where guards sleep is funny as all hell.

Same here, and they seem to persist. Every day I go back there are more halbreds than the day before lol. Literally there is a pile of them forming at every city entrance lol. There must be about 80 of them at every entrance right about now.

Not true, I 've had one since after 1.3 PS4 Pro I picked up and dropped in my Room in Rattay and it still there. Those things do mega damage in fights

@IceKing you have a unique polearm, or haven’t waited long enough

me to WH support (16FEB2018): polearms disappear after being left on the ground/floor and returned to after a number of game days/sleep saves
Proky from WH support (08MAR2018): yes all items will eventually despawn

of the +12 polearms I’ve dropped off inside Miller Peshek’s house and small barn next to the wagon, ALL have despawned. meanwhile the southern part of the Rattay-Vranik loop gains ever more polearms and few if any have despawned

Runt is still there after about 2 real time weeks, I went yesterday and used the Horse to jump the wall and I got his gear…Funny, He is labeled “Bandit” nt Runt

interesting will have to give it a try

He was the only one, All the other dead soldiers despawned

he didn’t use the club (kanabo) in the cutscene. did he have it in inventory?

For some reason he did not have a weapon, I found his Shield but not his weapon, It could of fell through the floor, But I tried looking and did not find it. Give it shot.
